Órla Fiona
Producer
Órla Fiona Wittke studied theatre and performance at the Freie Universität Berlin and at the Trinity College Dublin. Her work focuses on the development of performance installations that take place in spaces such as galleries, repurposed water towers and old factory buildings. Audiovisual media are often used in the productions, sometimes projected directly onto the performer’s body. For the past two years, Órla’s work has focused primarily on dance performance and choreography, mainly in the areas of production, dramaturgy, choreographic consultancy and the spatial design of performances, as well as the integration of lighting, film and sound. Órla has previously worked for the Schaubühne Berlin, the Maxim Gorki Theatre, the Kuyum Tanzplattform, the theatrum litfaßsäule, Fallschirm Films, the Dublin Theatre Festival and the Berliner Festspiele. In 2025, she founded the performance collective BEAST with Kiki Drost. Since 2026, she has been working as a freelance producer for the Nantea Dance Company. As part of Tatwerk Berlin’s “Unknown Geographies” residency programme, Órla undertook a four-week residency with the dance collective ensemble elsewhere (John Shades, Adamou Bancé, Órla Fiona Wittke) in July 2026. The project “zoning out” (wt), conceived during the residency, is scheduled to premiere in September 2027.
